Develop new accounts and open new markets
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements including planning and modifying products to meet customer needs
Help clients solve installed equipment problems with a sense of urgency
Develop and maintain good relationships with prospective customers, new customers and existing customers
Persuade customers on the excellence of our products and services
Establish a customer database, accurately maintaining CRM systems and other relevant tools to manage sales activities, opportunities and pipeline
Prepare monthly sales reports, annual sales targets and yearly market planning
Meet established sales quota and revenue goals
Possess a Diploma, Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related engineering field
At least 1 year of working experience and proven record in sales for engineering products
Knowledgeable in engineering product applications such as:
Centrifugal Pump
Gear/Lobe Pump
Vacuum Pump
Compressor
Plate Heat Exchanger
Actuator
Valve
Tubes and Fittings
Experienced with business dealings in General Industries such as:
Pharmaceutical
Semiconductor
Printing and Packaging
Food and Beverage
Personal Care
Brewery
Palm Oil and Oleo Chemical, etc.
Chemical
Able to deliver presentations to customers and integrate technical knowledge and selling skills
Good command of English in writing, speaking and reading
Good pricing and negotiating skills
Possess own transport and willing to travel
Negotiable on the remuneration package
