Flowserve’s Allpac N Slurry Seal is a simple yet robust single, balanced cartridge pusher seal is a cost-effective solution for slurry processes with solids to 20% by weight. There are large clearances and springs located outside of the process fluid provide a non-clogging robust cartridge design suitable for heavy slurries and corrosive duties.
The mechanical seal, specific as slurry seals, is a single, tandem or double balanced wavy spring seal cartridge designed according to the metric DIN 24960 form C. The seal face pair uses two 100% identical faces. When used as a double seal inboard is reverse pressurized and therefore very resistant to clogging. This seal is designed specifically for the so-called “form C” part of the DIN standard, and is available in four sizes.
